Iridology was developed as a diagnositc aid. It does not however diagnose situations such as pregnancy. I have found that Iridology works well in conjunction with other physical diagnostic procedures such as skin and pulse diagnosis and observation of the tongue.

Iridology is based on the concept that the tissues in the iris and sclera reflect the state of health of an individual, by reflecting chemical and nutritional changes that impact on organs and tissues. For example, a white overlay that covers much or part of the iris indicates congestion in the body, most likely from acidic accummulations.
