Movement Meditation
& Sacred Dance

"Eyes closed and moving in sync with the breath."

The two spaces in movement meditation are Stillness and Movement (the dance). Part of coming alive is sensing both of these spaces with presence and attentiveness, and this creates a journey into inner peace that is incredibly healing.

We begin by moving consciously with a deep appreciation of the unique bodies we each inhabit, and as the body unwinds and the awareness grows, the movement becomes a personal dance. This dance is a gift to your body and your inner self. I love all aspects of dance and feel that it is a powerful tool for us to get back in touch with our deeper selves because we live in a world that is exploding with media and noise, and diverting our attention from the present moment.
In this class, we tune into our body sensations and express how we feel to bring us into a state of bliss. It’s a heartful experience giving one's inner movement a path for expression in a space of love and acceptance.
